Challenges
This special show was created during the Covid-19 pandemic. The performers were 7 artists, 5 solo dancers, 1 duo, 1 motivational speaker and 7 slow walkers. The camera crew also had their own tailor-made costumes. The makers asked for outfits that would be different for each performer, while still belonging together. We agreed on the color white and on a thick and solid fabric with a lot of texture. Inez then met with each of the performers, as their costumes needed to allow each unique choreography, but also to amplify the movements created by the specific gestures.

Inez is een bevlogen kostuumdesigner en kledingmaakster met een behoorlijke kennis van materialen en naaitechnieken. Wij werken graag samen met Inez omdat ze helemaal met je mee duikt in het creatieproces. Zij vertaald de essentie van het werk naar de kostuums met een grote kunde en kennis. Zij werkt efficient en maakt altijd ruimte voor verandering. Daarnaast is zij een warm, verwelkomend persoon die mensen goed weet in te schatten en echt een band opbouw met de crew. Zodoende zijn de kostuums op het lijf geschreven van de performers, en weet ze hun persoonlijkheid te betonen.
